Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a trackless, 3D dark ride based upon the Pixar movie, Ratatouille. The original ride opened in July 2014 at Disneyland Paris, with a second version opening in the France pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World on October 1st, 2021 during the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
When does Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure open?
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opened on October 1st, 2021 coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort opening in 1971. Covid-19 shut down all construction at Walt Disney World on March 17, 2020 setting back the opening of the ride by a year and a half.
Where is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
Remy’s Ratatouile Adventure originally opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park, located in Disneyland Paris. In July 2017, Disney announced the same ride would be coming to the France Pavilion in Epcot sometime in 2020. This was part of a large France Pavilion expansion that includes Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Creperie de Paris table service and quick service restaurant. The expanded area in Epcot opened on October 1st, 2021.
Can I get a Lightning Lane for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure initially opened with a “boarding group” like Rise of the Resistance. The boarding pass style ride experience lasted until January 10, 2022 when it went to Standby only, and then was included in the new Lightning Lane experience of Disney Genie+. You can pay to get priority boarding on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure starting at 7:00 A.M. every morning.
Is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure a thrill ride? Will my young kids be ok riding it?
As far as thrills go, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is in between Pirates of the Caribbean and Soarin’. This means 99% of the population will be able to ride it. It will move quickly at times as it is a chase scene through Gusteau’s Restaurant but it will not be scary like Pirates of the Caribbean is at times or “thrilling” like Rise of the Resistance (similar ride vehicles). It also will not be elevated off the ground like Soarin’ but will give you the same fast moving feeling you get when on board.
How long is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure runs for 4 minutes 40 seconds on board the vehicle. Loading and unloading take a few minutes and the line to wait can vary depending on how busy Epcot is each day and the time of day. Lightning Lanes for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure typically sell out almost immediately.
