Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is a trackless, 3D dark ride based upon the Pixar movie, Ratatouille. The original ride opened in July 2014 at Disneyland Paris, with a second version opening in the France pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World on October 1st, 2021 during the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
When does Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure open?
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is expected to open in summer 2020. Covid-19 shut down all construction at Walt Disney World on March 17, 2020. This will set back the opening of the ride to a later unannounced date. Disney Parks worldwide, including all Walt Disney World parks, are closed indefinitely because of the coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2.
Where is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
Remy’s Ratatouile Adventure originally opened at the Walt Disney Studios Park, located in Disneyland Paris. In July 2017, Disney announced the same ride would be coming to the France Pavilion in Epcot sometime in 2020. This was part of a large France Pavilion expansion that includes Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Creperie table service and quick service restaurant, and Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along.
Can I get a FastPass+ for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
Nothing has been announced for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in regards to FastPass+. Although, we can take 2 hints away from the opening: Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway opened with FastPass+ and RRA will likely open in Disney’s “off-season” because of the COVID-19 construction delay. This means we will likely see it open with a FastPass+ option instead of the “boarding group” like Rise of the Resistance. This will make many guests happy as the boarding groups at Hollywood Studios have been met with disdain and resistance (pun intended).
Is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure a thrill ride? Will my young kids be ok riding it?
As far as thrills go, I would estimate Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure to be in between Pirates of the Caribbean and Soarin’. This means 99% of the population will be able to ride it. It will move quickly at times as it is a chase scene through Gusteau’s Restaurant but it will not be scary like Pirates of the Caribbean is at times or “thrilling” like Rise of the Resistance (similar ride vehicles). It also will not be elevated off the ground like Soarin’ but will give you the same fast moving feeling you get when on board.
How long is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure?
We do not have official statistics on the Epcot version of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, but we can look at the Disneyland Paris version for hints on an approximate ride time. The Paris version runs for 4 minutes 40 seconds, the Epcot version will likely be similar.
